We have an exciting career opportunity for a BE/BC Neonatologist to join our practice at Well Star Spalding Regional Medical Center in Griffin, Georgia.

Located in Spalding County, Griffin has grown from a railroad “boomtown” to a thriving metro Atlanta suburb. Griffin, GA is just a 30 minute commute to downtown Atlanta and only a 25 minute commute to Atlanta's Hartsfield‑Jackson International Airport. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Griffin features a remarkably intact old downtown district that is undergoing a streetscape beautification project.

Shop and dine there amid historic buildings and wide, landscaped medians.

Responsibilities
  • Seeking a BE/BC Neonatologist with NICU/NRP experience to provide coverage for our 18 bed MBU nursery and our growing 4‑6 bed Level‑II NICU.
  • Full‑time position includes a scheduled rotation of 7 days on/7 days off with considerable flexibility in scheduling (providing a total of 15‑24H covered shifts per month) and rotating holidays.
  • Schedule includes rounding on both units during the day and call from home at night.
  • Skilled NICU nursing staff attends all deliveries; MD called to attend only complex/very premature deliveries.
  • Ideal candidate will have experience with the bread‑and‑butter care of premature infants as well as neonatal procedures.
  • No circumcisions.
