Job SummaryWe are seeking a dynamic, technically proficient professional to provide front‑line technical support to dealers, sales teams, and customers for packaged generator set products (LV & MV). This individual contributor role includes technical proposal development, product sizing, system design, training, and documentation.
What You Will Do Technical Sales & Application Engineering- Provide front‑line technical support to dealers and sales teams for packaged generator set products.
- Lead product sizing, selection, and application engineering for generator systems.
- Develop technical proposals and respond to RFPs and tenders.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to customers and consultants.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend tailored solutions.
- Respond to dealer inquiries on Electric Power products, from basic to complex.
- Develop quotations for custom solutions beyond standard offerings.
- Provide project‑specific technical guidance and interface with core engineering teams.
- Interpret tender specifications and coordinate with engineering to produce submittal documents.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, consultants, and stakeholders.
- Act as a liaison between sales, engineering, and product development teams.
- Provide pre‑sales technical consultation to dealers and consultants.
- Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer needs and propose tailored solutions.
- Support business development by identifying opportunities and technical differentiators.
- Design single‑line diagrams, network layouts, and interconnection wiring for generator and switch gear systems.
- Integrate third‑party controllers (e.g., DSE, DEIF, Com Ap) and develop control systems.
- Support remote monitoring systems using Modbus RS485/TCPIP protocols.
- Develop technical documentation, training materials, and reference white papers.
- Deliver product application training to internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
- Experience with in power systems, generator applications or related.
- Technical knowledge of genset controllers, synchronization, paralleling schemes, and electrical system architecture.

- Prior field experience with customers, dealers, or distributors.
- Experience in managing compliance, industry trends, and regulatory changes.
- Prior experience in turnkey project execution, including site testing, commissioning, and aftermarket service.
- Service excellence:
Ability to meet or exceed customer needs and expectations.
- Position can be located in Dallas, TX or Griffin, GA.
- No relocation or sponsorship offered.
- Travel expected up to 50%.
- Required to be in office 5 days a week.
