Our team is seeking a talented Civil Engineer for a growing Civil Engineering firm located in Griffin, GA.
Primary Responsibilities- Work effectively and professionally with internal team members and external client personnel
- Attend client meetings, planning commission meetings, city council meetings
- Ability to take a project from start to finish, acting as project engineer
- Use Civil 3D to design commercial and residential on-site development projects
- Perform field assessment of existing infrastructure and construction observation
- Assist with site grading and design
- Assist with shop drawing review
- Prepare technical reports such as storm reports and SWPPPs
- Assist with permit applications
- Prioritize project deadlines
- 1-3 years of AutoCAD Civil 3D experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite software
- Ability to develop GIS, CAD, and data management skills
- Basic knowledge of civil engineering concepts
- Basic knowledge of the latest computer operating systems, spreadsheets, and databases
- Strong problem-solving and math skills
- Ability to perform under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited university
- EI certification preferred
