What You Will Be Doing

As the Quality Control Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the Quality Manager with QMS, Microsoft, ISO, UL2200 and UL142 maintenance, generate reports and review processes. You will also be responsible for managing any QMS software sought by YES in the future.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Work closely with QC Managers to make sure all quality paperwork, accordingly.
  • Support Quality Manager with any quality associated tasks.
  • Maintain supporting documentation for ISO, Microsoft, UL 142 and UL 2200 certifications. Assist in UL and ISO and Microsoft compliance inspections.
  • Work with YPS Quality Manager to ensure all internal phase inspection processes are adhere to and followed.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner.
  • Additional duties as assigned by manager.
Who We Are Looking For

To be successful in this position you should be organized, show an attention to detail, and have a sense of urgency. You should have basic computer skills, be safety conscious, and have the willingness to learn. The ability to multitask, problem solve, and provide superior customer service are essential to this position as well.

Education/Experience
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Four year college degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a Quality Engineer role preferred.
Required Qualifications /Skills
  • Preparing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data.
  • Deep understanding of the EPG packaging design business.
