We are currently looking for the right Full-Time Retail Sales Associate to join our team.

• $14.00 to $17.00 per hour
• Commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process; you can earn unlimited commission above your hourly base rate

We are seeking entry-level, full-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff to ensure customer service on both lending and retail sides. The role involves greeting, engaging with customers, processing sales and loans, and resolving inquiries. The position includes working with a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more.

The successful candidate will earn hourly pay plus commission based on productivity.

• Greet and interact with customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate financial solutions
• Perform non-management open/close procedures
• Keep the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintain product displays
• Process sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies and procedures
• Handle cash and negotiable items per policies and procedures
• Answer incoming calls per company standards
• Explain the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and managers
• Collaborate with staff to create a positive customer experience
• Complete required training and perform other related duties as needed

• Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to stand, walk, lift, and perform other duties for extended periods as required
• Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified (where applicable)
• May be asked to assist customers in exterior areas of the property
• Minimum Age: 18 years old
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• Strong desire to serve customers and work as part of a team
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math proficiency; cash handling experience preferred
• Computer literate; able to operate POS systems
• Ability to work across multiple locations as needed
• Flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays

The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to First Cash. Pawnbrokers have the potential to earn 2-8% commission based on personal performance. Additional details are provided during the interview process.
