Position: Childcare Teacher - 3 Year Old Classroom

Job Description

We are seeking an energetic individual to teach young children, ages one to three years old, through active engagement and positive interactions. The role involves following individual schedules, monitoring supplies, and helping build foundational skills.

Hours: Full Time

Compensation: Up to $12 - $15 an hour depending on experience

Benefits: $1,000 recruitment bonus after 90 days; $500 center sign-on bonus after 6 months

Responsibilities:

Plan and implement activities aligned with curriculum objectives and developmentally appropriate practices.

Treat children with compassion, dignity, and respect, guiding them by keeping rules simple, talking with them, setting good examples, teaching conflict resolution, and praising good behavior.

Maintain open communication with parents and support the program's direction, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.

Support compliance with policies, maintain accurate records, and prepare plans for assistant teachers.

Co-Workers:

Encourage and mentor assistant teachers, foster positive communication, and contribute ideas and materials.

Administration:

Maintain reliable attendance, punctuality, and flexibility with schedules and assignments.

Be attentive, courteous, and responsible, following policies and completing all DHS requirements timely.
