Mane Infrastructure is recruiting experienced Steel Fabricators to join a skilled team working on a major bridge refurbishment project in the Grimsby area.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile infrastructure project, carrying out a range of structural steel installation and refurbishment duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installing and fitting structural steelwork to an existing bridge structure.
- Carrying out plate work installations.
- Removing existing rivets.
- Operating magnetic drills (mag drills).
- Grinding and preparing steelwork to specification.
- Working safely and effectively as part of a site team.
- Adhering to all health and safety procedures on site.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Steel Fitter / Erector.
- Experience working on structural steel or bridge refurbishment projects is advantageous.
- Competent in using mag drills, grinders, and associated steel erection tools.
- Valid CSCS card (essential).
- Any additional steel erection or safety certifications are beneficial.
Monday - Friday (07:00am - 17:00pm) - 10 hours paid
Lodge allowance can be provided if required - T&Cs apply
