b Responsibilities

• Work within schools and follow planning and take lessons.
• Provide quality support to teachers and to pupils.
• Support planning, evaluation, and delivery of learning activities for children and young people in a formal setting.
• Manage pupil behaviour in accordance with school policy.
• Apply child protection, health and safety procedures and their application in a school setting.
• Use awareness of frameworks that support education, development and well‑being of children.

• Have experience working within schools.
• Be confident with the curriculum.
• Hold a relevant qualification for HLTA (UK based).
• Good knowledge of ASD, good timekeeping skills.
• Good interpersonal skills, empathy with children and young people, ability to think on your feet.
• Background: HLTA (level 4 and above) or a QTS teacher who wants to take a break from planning and marking.
• Shift: 8:15‑15:30 daily, full‑time only.
• Duration: long term, ongoing.
