Full time - 37 hours per week/term time only

- Manage a caseload of students and work with them in group settings, smaller tutorials, and individual one‑to‑one supervisory meetings.
- Check and monitor student attendance.
- Liaise with teaching and support staff, and provide essential guidance.
- Provide direct contact with students, their families, and other stakeholders, offering support with financial, academic, social, and emotional challenges that may affect student progress.
- Play a crucial role in helping students overcome obstacles, maintain full attendance, and maximise their learning opportunities.
- Minimum Level 3 (A Level) education with a good standard of English.
- Reliable and professional with excellent communication skills.
- Empathetic and able to work under pressure.
- Passion for working with young people and a commitment to supporting students in a vibrant sixth form college environment.

Full time/term time only salary = £21,423.60 to £22,836.29 per annum (These posts are on the Sixth Form Colleges Support Staff Pay Spine 5‑9; currently £25,159 to £26,818 FTE, depending on experience).
