KS1 Primary Teacher

Position: KS1 Primary Teacher (Contract)
Year 2 Teacher Required - Outskirts of Grimsby
Aprilafter Easter) - July (End of Academic Year)

Simply Education is currently recruiting an enthusiastic and committed Year 2 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school located on the outskirts of Grimsby.

This is a full-time position starting after the Easter break and continuing through to the end of July.

The Role

Full-time Year 2 class teacher
Planning and delivering engaging, creative lessons in line with the KS1 national curriculum
Full planning and marking responsibilities
Assessing pupil progress and maintaining accurate records
Attending staff meetings and contributing to the wider school community
Creating a positive, inclusive learning environment that supports all pupils

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2
Strong knowledge of SATs preparation (desirable but not essential)
Excellent classroom management skills
A proactive, adaptable, and positive approach
Commitment to fulfilling planning and marking responsibilities to a high standard
