Overview
John Whitgift Academy are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant Level 2 to join our academy as soon as possible on a part‑time, permanent basis.
ResponsibilitiesAs a Teaching Assistant Level 2, you will work under the instruction and guidance of teaching and senior staff to undertake work, care and support programmes which enable access to learning for pupils. You will also assist the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom, carrying out work either in the classroom or outside the main teaching area.
Hours29.5 hours per week during term time (39 weeks, plus 5 days off).
About the SchoolWe have over 900 students aged 11–16. We are located close to the A180, making commuting easy. The academy is rapidly growing, is the highest‑performing academy in North East Lincolnshire, and has excellent behaviour and a strong focus on learning. Outstanding facilities include an Engineering block, two full‑size swimming pools and a 207‑seater cinema.
