Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the newly formed NHS Humber Health Partnership, the 12th largest acute and community provider in the NHS. The Group, comprising Hull University Teaching Hospitals (HUTH) and Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust (NLAG), serves a population of over 1.5 million people with a budget of over £1.3 billion.
Responsibilities- Provide patient‑focused ultrasound services across obstetric, general, and community diagnostic centres.
- Scan and report all studies independently, including abdominal, gynaecology, obstetrics, small parts and deep vein thrombosis (DVT) studies.
- Collaborate with the radiology team for more complex cases.
- Diploma in Medical Ultrasound or PG Diploma in Medical Ultrasound, with state registration.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Minimum one year practical experience in an established NHS ultrasound department.
- Competence in abdominal, gynaecology, obstetrics, small parts, and DVT scans; additional musculo‑skeletal or vascular qualifications considered an advantage.
