I have an immediate requirement for a Support Analyst for my client based in Grimsby. Work for a nationally recognised client, this is an important need to be filled as soon as possible.
ObjectiveReporting to the head of IT, this role will form part of a small in‑house IT Support Team. The IT Support Team provides both maintenance and new releases to existing applications used by the business as required.
Responsibilities- Embed a robust help desk support service to the business with the appropriate IT tool.
- First port of support for the phone systems.
- First port of call for building PCs, connecting printers and setting up new mobiles.
- Document both existing and new IT support processes.
- Work with the business to provide support in all aspects of the software development lifecycle.
- Carry out work safely in the interests of other employees and oneself, in compliance with current legislation and Company Health & Safety procedures.
- Undertake any reasonable request as directed by your Line Manager.
- Basic knowledge of IT in general, including Microsoft Operating Systems, Applications, Networking, and Mobile Technologies.
- Basic understanding of phone systems.
- Proficient use of MS Office systems.
