We’re offering an 18‑month opportunity as a Raw Materials Scheduler
, ideal for someone looking to build hands‑on experience in a global commercial environment.
As a Raw Materials Scheduler, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our production teams have everything they need, exactly when they need it. You’ll work closely with suppliers, logistics providers, and internal teams, developing skills that are critical to any successful supply‑chain career.
What you’ll be doingMaterial Planning & Scheduling
- Plan and schedule raw materials and packaging to support production demand
- Monitor stock levels and reorder points to maintain continuity of supply
- Balance inbound deliveries across the week to keep operations running smoothly
- Raise and manage purchase orders in line with procurement strategy
- Expedite deliveries and resolve supply issues proactively
- Track supplier performance, including On‑Time‑In‑Full (OTIF)
- Coordinate imports into the UK, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance
- Work with freight forwarders and customs brokers to manage inbound shipments
- Maintain daily tracking tools and requirement checks
- Contribute to monthly planning cycles and forward forecasts
- Highlight risks, shortages, and changes to key stakeholders
- Troubleshoot supply disruptions and delivery delays
- Work cross‑functionally with Procurement, Finance, Production, and R&D
- Support supplier issue resolution and continuous improvement activities

- Exposure to a global supply chain and international suppliers

- Experience with systems such as SAP and forecasting tools
- Involvement in real business decision‑making from day one
- Degree educated or relevant experience in a similar or administrative role
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confident communicator with a proactive, problem‑solving approach
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel skills beneficial)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- SAP experience is advantageous but not essential
- An interest in supply chain, logistics, or manufacturing
- A “can‑do” attitude and willingness to learn
- The confidence to take ownership and make decisions
- Ability to stay calm and solutions‑focused under pressure
- Support safety, health & environmental compliance (including COMAH limits)
- Assist with supplier queries, invoice issues, and internal projects
- Help resolve supply or transport‑related incidents
- Be flexible when urgent issues arise (occasional out‑of‑hours support may be needed)
