We are looking for a Hygiene Operative to provide excellent service standards for the delivery of routine planned and periodic cleaning for a Mitie customer. The role holder will be responsible for meeting all SLA agreements whilst adhering to the cleaning schedules.

• Carry out general high risk and low risk hygiene tasks including washing equipment, walls, floor & overheads, mopping floors, belt cleaning and using scrubbing/sweeping equipment.
• Work as part of a team to ensure that the highest standards of visual and microbiological hygiene are maintained across all areas of the site.
• Collaborate with the Hygiene Team Leader, handle chemicals, ensure containers are labelled and locked at all times.
• Operate cleaning equipment and complete deep sanitation procedures.
• Dismantle equipment and machinery as required.

• Previous experience as a food manufacturing cleaner desirable but not compulsory (full training will be provided).
• Ability to handle and use chemical substances, subject to passing COSHH training.
• IPAF certification desirable but not essential.
