Overview
HGV Technician needed in the Grimsby Area – full and ongoing manufacturer training will be provided.
Responsibilities- Inspect and repair vehicles to DVSA standards including MOT preparation and presentation to test.
- Fault diagnosis including the use of specialist diagnostic equipment.
- General mechanical and electrical repairs.
- Opportunity to do offsite working, including breakdown attendance.
- Display excellent customer service and a dedication to keeping customer vehicles on the road.
- Experienced working on HGVs.
- Level 3 HGV qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ) preferred, or equivalent skill level.
- The ability to work to a high standard.
- Significant workshop experience.
- The ability to work well in a team.
- An awareness of the importance of Health and Safety compliance.
- Full UK Drivers License.
- Own set of tools.
- Basic Salary up to £40,973.
- OTE up to £44,387.
- Alternating shifts - Week 1 Mon-Fri 6:00-15:30, Week 2 Mon-Fri 13:00-22:30.
