Are you an experienced residential childcare professional ready to take the next step in your career? We're looking for a passionate and dedicated Children's Home Manager to lead a well-established residential service supporting young people with learning disabilities, autism and behavioural needs.
This is an opportunity to lead a committed team, shape high-quality care provision, and make a genuine difference to the lives of young people in a nurturing and supportive environment.
The Role:As Children's Home Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and management of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care, safeguarding and compliance are maintained.
Key responsibilities include:- Leading, motivating and developing a dedicated residential care team
- Ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and quality standards
- Promoting safeguarding and person-centred care at all times
- Managing staffing, budgets and day-to-day operations
- Driving continuous improvement across the service
- Supporting staff development and creating a positive culture within the home
- At least 4 years' experience in a similar position
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a senior or managerial position
- A Level 5 Diploma in Residential Childcare, Health & Social Care, or willingness to work towards this
- A full UK driving licence
