High Risk Operative

13.87 per hour (50p additional per hour between the hours of 10pm and 6am)

We are currently recruiting for High Risk Operatives to join the Grimsby Recipe Dish site who are the sole supplier of fresh and chilled ‘best in class’ soups predominantly for M&S. This purpose‑built site currently employs around 200 people, whilst turning over £30 million. The site is a fast‑paced, dynamic and ‘no two days the same’ environment; making it a great place to work.

• Responsible for the transfer of both hot and cold soups and sauces into the correct packaging.
• Conducting checks on key machinery in your area.
• Ensure food quality, safety and hygiene standards are complied with.
• Working with hazardous materials, machinery, and equipment and will be required to follow strict safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

• Have an in‑depth knowledge of the manufacturing process and factory equipment.
• Basic English and Maths skills.
• Knowledge of computers and SAP would be an advantage.
• Able to work as part of a team.
• Able to use own initiative.
• Ideally you will have knowledge of machine operating e.g. pot fillers, checkweighers and metal detectors however full training will be provided.
