Fish Factory Production Operative

We are recruiting reliable Production Operatives to join our busy fish processing team. This is physically active, fast-paced work on a production line. Previous production experience is beneficial but not essential – full training will be provided.

• Rate: £13.15 per hour
• Shifts:
  
  6am-4pm Monday to Friday with every other Saturday
• Overtime may be available depending on operational needs

• Working on fast-paced production lines
• Packing, weighing and labelling finished products
• Sealing and final product checking for quality and presentation
• General manual labour tasks to support production
• Maintaining cleanliness and adhering to hygiene standards

• Full on-the-job training
• Personal protective equipment (PPE)
• A supportive team environment

This role operates in a cold and wet environment typical of fish production. You must dress suitably for these conditions (warm, waterproof layers are recommended). PPE will be provided. The role involves standing for long periods, manual handling and repetitive tasks. A reasonable level of physical fitness is required.

• Production experience advantageous but not essential
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Reliable, punctual and able to work in a team
