Salary: £50‑53k

Shift Pattern: 12‑Hour Days & Nights (Continental Shift Pattern)

We are recruiting on behalf of a well‑established food manufacturing business seeking a Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team.

The ideal candidate will be electrically biased, although we are also keen to speak with mechanically biased engineers who possess electrical fault‑finding and maintenance experience.

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across production and packaging machinery.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults efficiently to minimise downtime.
• Support continuous improvement projects and equipment upgrades.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Work closely with production teams to ensure optimal plant performance.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and food manufacturing standards.

• Proven experience as a Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer within manufacturing, ideally food or FMCG.
• Electrical qualifications such as NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC/HND, or equivalent preferred.
• Strong fault‑finding skills on electrical systems, including motors, sensors, drives, contractors and PLC‑controlled equipment.
• Mechanical maintenance experience including conveyors, pumps, bearings, gearboxes and pneumatics.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
