Develop your hygiene expertise while helping maintain the highest food safety and cleanliness standards at our South Quay site.
Role OverviewAs a Hygiene Operative, you'll play an important role in ensuring our production environment is maintained to the highest possible standards. Working as part of the 4 on 4 off night shift team, you'll support food safety, product quality, and operational excellence by delivering effective cleaning activities across the site.
Key Duties- Promote a strong clean as you go culture and support adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Carry out cleaning activities in line with trained procedures and agreed hygiene standards.
- Complete machinery hygiene checks in accordance with company requirements.
- Maintain exceptional hygiene standards throughout the production environment.
- Support hygiene, food safety, and internal audit activities across the site.
- Ensure PPE and company-issued uniform standards are maintained at all times.
- Complete allocated tasks safely, accurately, and within agreed timescales.
- Maintain accurate and timely completion of all required documentation.
- Level 2 Food Hygiene qualification or equivalent.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and GMP standards within a manufacturing environment.
- Understanding of chemical handling, COSHH requirements, and safe working practices.
- A strong commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and compliance.
- Able to work efficiently while meeting operational objectives and performance measures.
- Good attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy.
- Reliable, motivated, and capable of working effectively as part of a team.
- Committed to promoting positive behaviours and contributing to a strong food safety culture.
