Refrigeration Engineer

We are recruiting for an experienced Commercial Refrigeration Engineer to join a growing service team covering the Yorkshire and Humberside region. This role is ideal for an engineer who takes pride in delivering high-quality refrigeration service, maintenance, and breakdown support across a variety of commercial kitchen and food-service environments.

Working on systems such as walk-in fridges, walk-in freezers, display chillers, and general commercial refrigeration equipment, you’ll play a key part in keeping customer operations running smoothly.

What You’ll Be Doing:

* Carry out service, maintenance, and repair on commercial refrigeration systems

* Diagnose faults and provide effective refrigeration troubleshooting

* Replace parts and complete safe, accurate repairs

* Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to reduce breakdowns

* Ensure compliance with F-Gas and all refrigeration regulations

* Provide clear communication and excellent customer service on-site

* Keep detailed and accurate job records

* Work collaboratively with the wider HVAC & refrigeration team

What We’re Looking For:

* F-Gas Category 1 (essential)

* NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (preferred)

* Minimum 3 years’ commercial refrigeration experience working on catering, retail, or hospitality sites

* Good electrical understanding (18th Edition beneficial)

* CSCS or similar H&S certification preferred

* Full UK driving licence

* Strong diagnostic ability and a proactive approach to problem solving
