Smart Solutions are recruiting a Class 2 HGV Driver on behalf of a well-established national waste management company based at the Humberside Industrial Estate, Grimsby.

This is a great opportunity for a reliable and physically fit driver looking for stable weekday work, overtime opportunities, and long-term career prospects within a growing industry.

• Start times between 4:00 AM – 6:00 AM
• Monday to Friday
• 45–50 hours per week
• Shifts typically 8–9 hours

• Collecting industrial and commercial bulk bins from customer sites
• Operating Class 2 vehicles including front and rear loaders
• Completing all paperwork accurately for collections and deliveries
• Reporting delays due to breakdowns, traffic, or weather conditions
• Reporting access issues and contaminated loads
• Completing daily timesheets
• Lone working and manual handling as part of the role

• Valid Class 2 (Category
  
  C) license
• CPC qualification
• Digital tachograph card
• Waste industry experience preferred but not essential (full training provided)
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Reliable, safety-focused, and professional approach
