Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping of construction materials.
Maintain accurate daily records of all warehouse activities, including goods received, inventory movements, and outbound shipments.
Prepare, complete, and distribute daily warehouse activity reports in a timely and accurate manner.
Ensure all receiving, shipping, and inventory documentation is properly completed, verified, and signed.
Monitor and track all inbound and outbound goods to maintain inventory accuracy and traceability.
Be physically present during key operational activities (inbound deliveries, inventory counts, picking, packing, and dispatch).
Deliver cargo to vessels operating from Grimsby and surrounding areas, ensuring secure and compliant transport.
Conduct daily housekeeping and basic condition checks of onsite vehicles and warehouse equipment.
Monitor equipment condition and report defects or maintenance requirements.
Attend daily team meetings and safety briefings to ensure safe and efficient task execution.
Enforce company procedures, operational guidelines, and safety policies at all times.
Promote and demonstrate a strong culture of safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
Exercise authority to stop or intervene in warehouse operations in cases of safety risks, procedural breaches, or inventory discrepancies.
Work a 14/14 rotation as required by offshore construction operations.
Requirements:
Mandatory
Valid First Aid Certificate.
Forklift licence (double mast up to 4 tonnes).
IT proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and general internet use.
Full, clean UK driving licence.
Ability to work a 14/14 rotation.
Residence within one hour of Humberside Airport (for potential out-of-hours call-outs).Preferred
Dangerous Goods certification (air and sea).
Previous warehouse experience supporting offshore wind construction projects.
IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent HSE qualification.
Competency in PPE inspection (e.g., harness inspection).
Knowledge of UK customs regulations
