Driver Hire Grimsby & Scunthorpe are recruiting experienced van drivers to work with a range of established businesses throughout Scunthorpe and the surrounding area.
We have opportunities ranging from individual shifts and additional work through to regular ongoing assignments
, making this suitable for drivers looking for either flexibility or more consistent work.
No two customers are exactly the same. Depending on the assignment, your work could include:
- Local and regional deliveries
- Multi-drop work
- Deliveries to businesses and retail customers
- Loading and unloading
- Early morning starts
- Weekday and weekend work
- Regular ongoing assignments as well as ad-hoc shifts
Some positions are particularly customer-facing
, so we're interested in drivers who understand that they're representing our customer when they arrive at a delivery point.
You’ll need:
- A full UK driving licence (Category
B) - No more than 3 points on your licence - minor endorsements considered
- Previous commercial van driving or multi-drop experience preferred
- A reliable and punctual approach
- Good communication skills
- A professional, customer-focused attitude
We're particularly interested in drivers who take pride in doing the job properly - looking after the vehicle, treating customers well and representing both Driver Hire and our clients professionally.
