Summary
Support the delivery of efficient warehouse, dispatch, and site services operations, helping to ensure products are delivered safely, accurately, and on time while driving continuous improvement across the site.
The RoleWe are looking for a proactive Site Services Supervisor to support the Site Services Manager across all site service functions, including Despatch, Cold Store, Dry Store, and wider operational support.
YourKey Responsibilities
- Support the day to day running of the Site Services function, including Despatch, Cold Store, and Dry Store operations
- Assist with labour planning and resource management to support operational efficiency and budget targets
- Coordinate warehouse and distribution activities to ensure products are delivered to customers on time and in full
- Monitor stock accuracy through effective cycle counts and inventory control processes
- Work closely with the Warehouse Manager and wider site teams to deliver operational objectives
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and performance
- Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, health and safety, and company standards
- Build strong working relationships with internal departments to support the successful delivery of site goals
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Proactive and solutions focused approach
- Ability to prioritise workload in a fast paced environment
- Strong leadership and team coordination skills
- Results driven with a continuous improvement mindset
- Confident using IT systems and operational data
- Level 3 Food Hygiene and Intermediate HACCP qualification (or equivalent)
- Previous experience in warehousing, dispatch, or site services within an FMCG or food manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of warehouse operations, stock control, and distribution processes
- Experience working to retailer and audit standards, including M&S requirements
- SAP experience and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience managing operational priorities across multiple functions
