Paraeducators, Full-Time – Job

This role is part of the Griswold Public Schools Para educator Bargaining Unit. New hires will work 30 hours per week following the districts calendar for student days. Grade level and school location will be assigned upon hiring.

• Provide support to students under the guidance of classroom teachers.
• Assist with classroom management, implementation of individualized behavior plans, and use of assistive technology.
• Work with students on the autism spectrum using discrete trial instruction and other evidence‑based practices.
• Maintain accurate attendance records and report data as required.
• Collaborate with teachers and administrators to support student learning.

• Associate’s degree or 60 earned college credits, or successful completion of the Para Pro Assessment.
• Preferred:
  Experience working with students on the autism spectrum and using assistive technology.
• Preferred:
  Experience with discrete trial instruction and behavioral management planning.

• Hourly rate and benefits as per the Para educator Bargaining Unit contract.
