We seek a Seasonal Beauty Advisor with a passion for the beauty industry, exceptional guest service, and the ability to learn and communicate product knowledge.

The Seasonal Beauty Advisor (BA) is responsible for providing an exceptional guest experience by engaging with guests to determine their needs, conducting cashier tasks, stocking fixtures, maintaining store cleanliness, and completing tasks as assigned. The Seasonal Beauty Advisor supports the leadership team with a focus on performance (service/retail sales and in-store events), people (guest service), and process (operating procedures and compliance standards).

• Performance:
  Contribute to meeting or exceeding store goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty (including credit), omni-channel sales, and retail shrink as set by Ulta Beauty for the store.
• Ensure exceptional service by greeting and engaging each guest, personalizing service, answering questions about products and services, informing guests about promotions and sales, and recommending complementary Ulta Beauty products and/or services.
• Handle customer service, sales, refunds, and exchanges and assist with online orders.
• Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales and guest experience.
• Book appointments for and support the execution of services and in-store events that deliver an unrivaled guest experience while meeting sales goals.
• Stay informed about new and existing products and services and be knowledgeable about ingredients and benefits to better serve guests.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.

• People:
  Contribute to an inclusive environment supporting teammates and guests; share the benefits of the guest loyalty program, including credit and the Ulta Beauty app, with guests; collaborate with managers and associates to grow the business; participate in ongoing training for professional development and sales performance.

• Process:
  Be knowledgeable of and ensure compliance with Ulta Beauty policies and standards; adhere to dress code; drive sales by keeping work areas replenished and clean; maintain store cleanliness (salesfloor, restrooms, cashwrap, backroom, break area); participate in merchandising resets, planograms, displays, inventories, and receiving shipments using Ulta Beauty technology and best practices; protect company assets via loss prevention practices; perform other operational tasks as directed.

• High school diploma is preferred

• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred

• Passion for guest service and selling
• Proficiency with basic technology (POS system, Apple devices)
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Ability to troubleshoot
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

• Continuous mobility throughout the store; frequent standing, bending, lifting up to 25 lbs; continuous coordination of objects during shift

The pay range for this position is $16.35 - $21.50 per hour. Exact pay depends on factors such as education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, shift, location, and business needs. Eligible associates may earn overtime as required by law. Full-time positions are eligible for paid time off and health, dental, vision, life, and disability benefits. Part-time positions are eligible for dental, vision, life, and disability benefits.
