Construction Manager

We re working exclusively with a leading data centre contractor to find an experienced Campus Lead or Project Manager to take the site-based helm on a hyperscale data centre campus in Groningen Province, Northern Netherlands. This is a permanent, full-time, on-site role.
The Opportunity  This isn t a desk job dressed up as a PM role. You ll be running multiple concurrent upgrade and improvement projects across a live, operational campus — managing everything from scope validation and pricing through to delivery, handover and close-out. The environment is technically demanding, the client is highly engaged, and the standard expected is genuinely high.
You ll be coordinating across  CSA, MEP , telecoms, security and specialist trades, managing subcontractors, interfacing with design teams, and owning the client relationship on the ground. Someone has to be the person who keeps it all together when the pressure is on. That s you.
What You ll Be Doing   Leading the delivery of multiple concurrent projects across a live hyperscale campus
Managing the full project lifecycle from RFP through to close-out and handover
Coordinating CSA, MEP and specialist trade packages in a live operational environment
Building and maintaining strong client confidence through visible leadership and clear communication
Managing permits, RAMS, isolations, access controls and all live campus safety requirements
Supporting commercial control, change management and programme performance
Driving quality close-out — snagging, O&Ms, as-builts, handover packs, the lot
What We re Looking For   Proven track record delivering construction projects in live, technically constrained environments — data centres, critical infrastructure, life sciences, pharma, high-tech manufacturing or similar
Solid understanding of CSA and/or MEP works — you don t need to be an engineer in every discipline, but you do need to be technically credible
Experience managing multiple work streams simultaneously without losing grip of the detail
A practical, hands-on delivery mindset — you lead from the front, not from a spreadsheet
