With a reputation for excellence, we deliver complex EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) projects across the EMEA region, underpinned by a commitment to safety, innovation, and sustainability.

Our success is driven by our people and our values - Safety, Excellence, Teamwork, Respect, and Sustainability - which shape how we work, how we grow, and how we support each other and our clients. As we continue to expand, we are seeking Electrical Project Engineers to support delivery on some of the most dynamic and high-impact energy infrastructure projects in Europe and beyond.

Role Overview
The Electrical Project Engineer will play a key role  on-site  in supporting the delivery of complex Utility, Renewable, Data Centre and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects. The role involves close coordination with design, procurement, commissioning, and construction teams. The successful candidate will manage the quality and assist in the overseeing safety of installations, support commissioning efforts, and manage technical interfaces with subcontractors and vendors.

This is a site-based role requiring frequent travel or relocation depending on project needs, ideal for ambitious engineers with 2–5 years of experience looking to accelerate their career in a high-performance project delivery environment.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support during the construction and commissioning of electrical systems across project sites, ensuring all work is carried out safely and to the highest quality standards.

Collaborate with procurement and construction teams to monitor material deliveries, equipment installation, and subcontractor performance.

Conduct daily site inspections to verify quality of work, enforce safety protocols, and monitor progress against programme milestones.

Confirm drawings being used on site are the most up to date and monitor that construction works are in line with what is on the drawings (Example: Pop up Ducts are in the correct location before a concrete pour is completed). Ensure drawing packs are printed and readily available

Manage technical documentation including RFIs, method statements, inspection and test plans (ITPs), Check Sheets, Benchmarks, Non Conformance Reports (NCR’s), redlines, and as-built records.

Assist in FATs (Factory Acceptance Tests), SATs (Site Acceptance Tests), and support the successful commissioning and energisation of electrical systems.

Assist Design Team with Material Approvals (MAR’s) requests from Site whether it be from H&MV team or Sub-Contractors

Participate in regular site meetings with project management, subcontractors, clients, and other key stakeholders.

Deliver Toolbox Talks and Presentations to Teams (Internal and External) on the H&MV Quality management Systems and Procedures

Assist the Site Manager in Day to Day Tasks as and when required

Support the QA/QC process by ensuring works are executed according to approved specifications and any non-conformances are recorded and resolved through the company systems.

Promote and adhere to H&MV’s safety-first culture and ensure all engineering-related site activities comply with health and safety regulations.

Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, standardisation, or buildability and communicate suggestions to senior engineers or project leadership.

Maintain clear, structured communication and collaboration across multiple disciplines involved in project execution.

Produce Reports and Trackers to demonstrate progress on site in terms of Construction and Commissioning for both work activities and completion of associated paperwork
