The Netherlands
Plant Supervision is seeking a Commissioning Technician to support commissioning activities on a major onshore HV Substation project in the Netherlands.
Key Responsibilities
Assist commissioning engineers with primary and secondary testing activities.
Perform cable checks, continuity testing, and point-to-point verification.
Support equipment inspections and punch-list closeout activities.
Assist during energisation and commissioning works.
Prepare test records, check sheets, and site documentation.
Ensure compliance with project HSE requirements, permit-to-work systems, and site procedures.
Coordinate activities with commissioning teams, construction personnel, and subcontractors.
Requirements
Experience working on HV/MV substation, industrial, or power transmission projects.
Familiarity with electrical testing, cable verification, and commissioning activities.
Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
Strong focus on safety and quality.
Good communication skills and ability to work in a site-based team environment.
