Plant Supervision is seeking an experienced Commissioning Engineer – Primary Plant for a major onshore HV Substation project in the Netherlands.
Key Responsibilities
Execute and supervise testing and commissioning of primary HV equipment.
Perform testing on transformers, GIS/AIS switch gear, circuit breakers, disconnectors, CTs, VTs, and associated systems.
Review test procedures and OEM documentation.
Coordinate commissioning activities with construction and commissioning teams.
Identify and resolve technical issues during testing and commissioning.
Prepare test reports, commissioning records, and completion documentation.
Support energisation activities and system handover.
Requirements
Proven experience commissioning HV/MV substation primary equipment.
Strong knowledge of transformers, switch gear, circuit breakers, CTs, and VTs.
Familiarity with commissioning procedures, testing standards, and safety requirements.
Experience working on utility, transmission, or TSO projects.
Good communication skills and fluent English.
