As a trainee Data Center Engineer you learn the trade from the ground up, on site in the data centers of the Eemshaven. You work alongside experienced engineers four days a week and go to school one day a week. Within three years you work independently in the data centers.
The essentials: Salary: €3.300 na diploma
· 38 hours per week
· Fulltime
· Based in Groningen.
You start with full training paid by First Case. During your training you earn the youth wage, and right after your diploma you are promoted to Data Center Engineer at €3.300, growing on to €4.100.
Dutch or English language
BBL Electrical Engineering programme (level 2 or
3), fully paid by First Case
Training on UPS systems from Eaton and Schneider Electric
Metal & Engineering CAO, including travel allowance and ADV
“I had no technical training when I started. Now I work independently in the data centers of the Eemshaven.”
· Progressed via BBL to Data Center Engineer
