R&D Automation Intern — CAD, Python & Vision Tech

Job Overview  Do you want to develop yourself as a Research & Development Intern at our Johnson & Johnson surgical Vision site in Groningen? As an intern, you will work in a dynamic Research & Development environment under the supervision of an engineer or scientist in a multidisciplinary team that has expertise in the development of intraocular lenses, process development and metrology.
Project Areas   Improvement and automation of a test setup (script development)
Process improvement
Programming and automation
Feasability studies
Qualifications and Requirements   Currently studying Bachelor’s / Master’s in Engineering, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or related studies
Fluent in English; fluency in Dutch is an advantage

Experience with Solidworks or Computer-aided design (CAD) – considered plus
Good programming experience with Matlab and Python
Internship Details   Available for 32-40 hours a week
Internship duration: 3-6 months
