SAP Basis Consultant – S/4

HANA Migration (Freelance / Contract)
We are currently supporting a large-scale SAP modernization program and are looking to engage an experienced  SAP Basis Consultant  to support a transition to S/4

HANA. This is a key role within a multi-year transformation initiative focused on replacing legacy SAP systems ahead of end-of-life deadlines. The position requires strong hands‑on Basis expertise combined with migration and cloud integration experience.

Overview
You will play a critical role in the build and migration of a new on‑premise S/4

HANA landscape, while supporting integrations with SAP cloud solutions. You will work closely with technical teams to ensure performance, stability, and a smooth migration process.

Key Responsibilities

Support the design and implementation of a new on‑premise S/4

HANA landscape

Enable and maintain integrations with SAP cloud solutions

Support system migration activities, including performance optimization, parameter configuration, and issue resolution

Contribute to brownfield migration activities and overall SAP modernization efforts

Key Requirements

10+ years of SAP Basis experience, including S/4

HANA environments

Strong technical knowledge of SAP HANA, ABAP server, SAP BTP, PI/PO, and SAP Cloud Connector

Experience with migration tools such as SWPM and SAP SUM

Experience with Linux and Windows Server
