Essential Job Functions:

• Bag groceries at checkout for customers, striving for at least five items per bag without damage.
• Follow best practices for bagging in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
• Assist in removing customer's merchandise from bottom of bascarts for checkout.
• Offer to help customers load bags into their cars.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of grocery specials.
• Return merchandise to store shelves and gather bascarts for return.
• Clean spills, pick up trash inside store and parking lot, and clean all areas inside and outside the store.
• Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise.
• Understand store layout, locate products, and conduct price checks for cashiers.
• Reinforce safety procedures, identify unsafe conditions, and notify management.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Create a welcoming environment by assisting customers and answering questions.
• Follow all laws, regulations, and company guidelines.
• Work cooperatively in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment and manage conflicts professionally.
• Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
• Follow directions and seek assistance to resolve issues.
• Support and assist minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
• Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

Retail experience is preferred but not required. We continuously accept applications and will contact suitable candidates when positions become available.
