Accounts Receivable Clerk

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk to support gift and payment processing activities for a contract assignment based in Michigan. This role is well suited to someone who can step into a contract assignment quickly, work independently with limited training, and manage sensitive financial and donor-related records with care. The position focuses on accurate transaction entry, receivables support, and timely documentation while helping maintain organized and reliable financial data.

Responsibilities:

• Process gifts, payments, and related receivable transactions accurately and within required timelines.
• Enter and batch financial information in the appropriate system while maintaining complete and reliable records.
• Prepare acknowledgment correspondence and tax receipt documentation for submitted gifts.
• Apply cash receipts and support commercial collection activities as needed to keep accounts current.
• Reconcile recorded gifts and receivable activity with the business office to resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain the accuracy and integrity of donor and payment data within Blackbaud Raiser's Edge or a similar platform.
• Handle confidential financial and donor information with professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.
• Provide additional administrative and accounts receivable support duties as assigned during the coverage period.
