Pediatric Hospitalist
Corewell Health is seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and energetic pediatric hospitalist to join our team.
Role OverviewResponsibilities include comprehensive care for well newborns and patients aged 12 years and older admitted to the hospital, managing conditions such as hypoglycemia, mild respiratory distress/hypoxia, intensive phototherapy, infection workups, attend deliveries, perform neonatal resuscitation, consult in the emergency department, and engage in quality improvement, clinical protocol creation, professional development, and scholarly activities.
The physician will work in rotation providing in‑house coverage 24/7.
Schedule & CompensationFull Time Position: 1.0 FTE, 14 shifts (12 hours each) per month including Day and Night Shifts to provide 24/7 in‑house coverage.
No outpatient work. Opportunity to work additional shifts for additional income if desired.
Qualifications- BE/BC Pediatrics
- Unrestricted License and DEA - Michigan MD/DO
- Faculty appointment through Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine
