The Surgical Technologist II will maintain and prepare the surgical suite, handle instruments intraoperatively, maintain the sterile field, evaluate changing conditions during procedures, and respond appropriately. The role requires keeping current knowledge of surgical procedures and protocols and may include pre‑centing duties.

• High school diploma – Required.
• Associate degree or equivalent – Required.
• Completion of an accredited School of Surgical Technology or equivalent training program (military, etc.). 1 year of equivalent experience may be accepted in lieu of an associate degree – Required.
• Minimum of 1 year of Surgical Technologist experience (clinical rotations count as experience) – Preferred.
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire – Required.
