This Respiratory Therapist position is based in Grosse Pointe, Michigan, a beautiful suburban area nestled on the scenic shores of Lake St. Clair. Known for its prestigious neighborhoods and lively community spirit, Grosse Pointe offers numerous local attractions and activities to enjoy, such as exploring the historic Fox Theatre or visiting nearby Michigan destinations. The facility is a state-of-the-art critical illness recovery hospital, specializing in providing patient-centered care with a focus on the recovery of severe medical conditions.
The hospital is a 33-bed facility located within Ascension St. John Hospital, known for its commitment to excellence and patient care. As a Respiratory Therapist in this Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) unit, you will be responsible for delivering expert respiratory care, working with a collaborative team under the leadership of experienced healthcare professionals. Your typical day will involve assessing patients' respiratory status, administering treatments, and collaborating with medical staff to develop and implement care plans.
Required Qualifications
Certified Respiratory Therapist, Long Term Acute Care
Experience:
2 years
Licenses: RT-MI
Certifications(At least one of the following): BLS-AHA(Copy Needed), ACLS-AHA(Copy Needed), CRT-NBRC(Copy Needed)
OR
Registered Respiratory Therapist, Long Term Acute Care
