Speech Language Pathologist

Pay Rate: $50/hour

Hours: 40 hours per week (Guaranteed)

Shift: 8-hour days

Start Date: As early as December 1st

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time opportunity in Mystic, Connecticut
. This role is based in a long‑term care and skilled nursing setting, providing rehabilitative services to residents who require speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing therapy.

You’ll work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to help residents regain and maintain their communication and swallowing abilities, supporting their overall health and quality of life in a caring, home‑like environment.

• Evaluate, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for residents with communication, speech, language, or swallowing disorders
• Provide direct therapy services and track patient progress toward established goals
• Collaborate with nursing, occupational, and physical therapy teams to ensure comprehensive care
• Educate patients, families, and staff on communication techniques and strategies
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards

• Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active Connecticut SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC‑SLP) preferred
• Previous experience in a long‑term care or skilled nursing environment strongly preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
