Independent Living Skills Trainer (ILST) – Acquired Brain Injury Program
Location: Groton, CT
Pay: $18/hour
Schedule: Flexible Full‑Time & Part‑Time (Day & Evening shifts)

What You’ll Do
- Support individuals in developing independent living skills such as daily routines, budgeting, cooking, and communication.
- Provide non‑medical care, supervision, and socialization based on each client’s personalized service plan.
- Encourage, guide, and celebrate progress—big and small!
- Be a positive, steady presence as your clients build stronger, more fulfilling lives.
What You’ll Need
- Be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required).
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and good driving record.
- Verifiable experience with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI): 2 years with a high school diploma or equivalent, or 1 year with a bachelor’s degree.
Schedules Available
- 1st Shift (Part‑Time): 8 am–4 pm.
- 2nd Shift (Full‑Time or Part‑Time): 3 pm–10 pm; 4 pm–10 pm.
