Ship’s Provisioning Laborer

Monday - Friday
:
On call – 7:00 am – 12:30 pm or job is complete.

Responsibilities- Help load and unload supplies from navy ships and other vehicles using hand trucks, carts, or other tools.
- Sort, organize, and package products in storage areas while keeping track of inventory.
- Check items for quality and freshness, and throw away any damaged or expired products.
- Keep storage areas clean and organized, and do routine cleaning when needed.
- Follow safety rules to make sure the workplace is safe for everyone.
- Follow all rules and guidelines set by CW Resources and the U.S. Government.
- Report any problems with inventory, supplies, or equipment to supervisors right away.
- Show up on time and be ready to work when called.
- Work well with others to get the job done.
- Listen carefully and ask questions if something isn’t clear.
- Handle changes in weather, schedule, or tasks without complaining.
- Stay focused, take initiative, and finish tasks completely.
- Valid RealID.

- Frequent lifting and carrying of items weighing up to 50 lbs; occasional lifting of heavier items with assistance.
- Repetitive movements including bending, squatting, kneeling, and climbing ladders or stairs.
- Extended periods of standing and walking, often on hard surfaces or uneven terrain.
- Manual dexterity to operate basic equipment and secure cargo.
- Ability to work in tight spaces and maneuver around ship structures.
- Outdoor weather conditions including rain, wind, heat, cold, and humidity.
- Marine environments such as docks, piers, and ship decks, which may be wet, slippery, or noisy.
- Industrial noise from ship engines, forklifts, and delivery vehicles.
- Occasional exposure to fumes or odors from ship exhaust or food products.
- Variable lighting conditions, including early morning or overcast environments.
