Tuesday 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM Saturday 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM Tuesday–Saturday 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM (overnight)
Arbor Associates is placing an LPN into a one-of-a-kind residential program in Groton, MA - the first medically complex behavioral group home of its kind in Massachusetts. The program serves children and adolescents who need continuous medical oversight but don't require acute hospitalization - youth who are often difficult to place anywhere else because their medical and behavioral needs are both significant.
You'll work alongside behavioral specialists, clinicians, and residential staff on a six-acre campus that also includes a pediatric skilled nursing facility and a Chapter 766 school. This is pediatric nursing with real clinical depth - not a routine group home posting.
- Provide direct nursing care and medical oversight for youth with complex co-occurring medical and behavioral needs
- Administer medications, perform treatments, and monitor medical status per individualized care plans
- Respond to medical concerns and behavioral escalations with calm clinical judgment - de-escalation is a core skill here
- Document nursing observations and interventions in compliance with DCF and DEEC standards
- Collaborate with behavioral specialists, clinicians, and residential staff on treatment and safety planning
