Staff Accountant

The Naz is seeking a Staff Accountant with a passion for serving our church, school, early school, and commons area. This role will work closely with the Finance & Business Director to ensure all aspects of accounting functions are performed accurately and in a timely manner.

• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
• Prepare monthly financial reports
• Conduct budget analysis and cash flow forecasting
• Research and reconcile balance sheet discrepancies
• Facilitate annual audit
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes
• File sales tax returns and complete 1099 reporting
• Perform other duties as assigned
• The Staff Accountant will also ensure the integrity and confidentiality of accounting and payroll information by researching issues and establishing quality control over financial transactions and reporting.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Accounting degree preferred)
• Experience in a professional accounting setting preferred
• Proficiency with Quick Books Enterprise required
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with Microsoft Teams and Office Suite helpful
• Well-organized, excellent communicator, and able to manage multiple deadlines under pressure
• Self-motivated, dependable, and committed to excellence
