Accounting Clerk

We are looking for an Accounting Clerk to support day-to-day financial operations in Grove City, Ohio. This role focuses on maintaining accurate transaction records, coordinating invoice and payment activity, and assisting with procurement-related tasks. The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, works comfortably with high-volume data, and contributes to efficient, compliant accounting processes.

Responsibilities:

• Review and enter vendor invoices accurately, ensuring documentation is complete and records are updated on time.
• Prepare and process payments while monitoring due dates to support timely disbursements and strong vendor relationships.
• Assist with purchasing activities by coordinating procurement records, tracking orders, and validating supporting information.
• Perform account reconciliations, including bank and subledger reviews, to identify discrepancies and help resolve issues promptly.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities by maintaining organized files and following established accounting procedures.
• Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on customer accounts to help manage credit control and improve collections.
• Compile routine financial and operational reports by gathering data, checking accuracy, and summarizing key information.
• Contribute to process improvement efforts by identifying inefficiencies and recommending practical changes that strengthen accuracy and workflow compliance.
• Help maintain adherence to internal controls, audit expectations, and financial policies across daily accounting activities.
