Description: Job Description Summary

• The Telephone Operator monitors all incoming and outgoing telecommunications activities regarding hospital wide communication efforts.
• Location:
  
  Mount Carmel Grove City: 5300 N Meadows Dr, Grove City, OH 43123
• Shift: part time 20 hours a week
• Hours of office: 24/7 role, rotating hours

• Handles incoming calls and paging requests connecting parties if possible and /or providing information as requested.
• Answers priority calls promptly, determines the nature of the emergency and accurately executes procedures contained in hospital and department manuals.

• Education:
  
  High school graduate or equivalent
• Experience:
  
  One to two years of medical office experience preferred
• Experience answering multiline telephone system preferred
• Basic computer skills required
