Overview

The Account Operations Specialist II supports client accounts in a fast-paced environment, coordinating with auction teams and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations, high-quality vehicle condition reporting, and effective reconditioning processes.

Responsibilities
  • Primary point of contact for resolving client issues for accounts ranging from simple to complex, collaborating with auction teams and various stakeholders.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing inquiries and concerns related to vehicle condition and/or discrepancies; foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate sale vehicle run processes; maintain direct communication with other auction departments to ensure movement and organization of client inventory and timely completion of reconditioning services.
  • Build positive relationships with assigned clients; examine vehicles in the sales lineup to ensure standards and quality; complete estimates for reconditioning services to improve vehicle value; coordinate and approve reconditioning services; conduct condition reports and imaging audits to reduce risk of policy loss and goodwill expenses.
  • Demonstrate proficient knowledge of condition report data and vehicle inspection processes to identify prior paint, auto body repairs, frame damage, PDR, etc.
  • Educate and act as liaison for clients on auction processes; recommend and upsell Manheim/CAI products and services based on client needs.
  • Demonstrate effective prioritization, professionalism in client relationships, and assist in resolving client issues promptly and professionally.
  • May be responsible for coordinating redemptions, ensuring proper documentation, complying with all PII policies and procedures, while delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain strict adherence to Cox standards and guidelines regarding reconditioning services, ensuring consistent quality and accuracy per client SLA guidelines.
  • Possess knowledge of NAAA guidelines to ensure proper placement of vehicle announcements and/or brands.
  • Proficient with computer software including Microsoft Office and other internal business platforms.
  • Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and participating in safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.
QualificationsMinimum
  • High School Diploma/GED and 3 years' experience in a related field, or combination including higher degree/certification; OR 5 years' experience in a related field.
  • Safe drivers needed; valid driver's license required.
  • Requires physical ability and mental acuity to perform duties within required time frames.
Preferred
  • Self-starter with ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of condition report data and vehicle inspection processes (paint, body repairs, frame damage, PDR, etc.).
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Ability to operate vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.
  • Prior experience in vehicle reconditioning or auto body knowledge.

Compensation
Hourly base pay rate is $19.57 - $29.38/hour. The rate may vary based on location and candidate qualifications. Position may be eligible for additional compensation such as commissions or incentive programs.

Benefits
Employees receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off per month and seven paid holidays per year, plus additional leave options (bereavement, voting, jury duty, volunteer time off, military leave, parental leave).
