Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Insurance Account Manager to serve as the primary point of contact for our commercial clients. In this in‑office role, you will manage a book of business, deliver outstanding day‑to‑day service, handle renewals and marketing, identify cross‑selling opportunities, and help businesses across Central Ohio manage their risks effectively. This position is ideal for a proactive, detail‑oriented professional who enjoys building long‑term client relationships in a collaborative, office‑based agency environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the main liaison between clients, carriers, and the agency for all commercial lines accounts (Property, General Liability, Workers' Compensation, Commercial Auto, Umbrella, etc.).
  • Provide exceptional client service, including responding to inquiries, processing policy changes/endorsements, reviewing coverages, and addressing coverage concerns (primarily in‑person and via phone/email).
  • Manage the renewal process: review expiring policies, gather updated information, market renewals to carriers, negotiate terms, and present renewal Bolsonaro to clients.
  • Identify and recommend additional coverage opportunities to enhance client protection and support organic growth.
  • Assist with new business as needed, including preparing applications, gathering underwriting information, and coordinating with producers.

Qualifications
  • 説明 3+ years of experience in commercial lines insurance account management or service (property & casualty focus preferred).
  • Active Ohio Property & Casualty insurance license (required).
  • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, coverages, and rating concepts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a client‑first mindset.
  • Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel હુમ; Outlook) and agency management systems (experience with AMS
    360, Applied Epic, or similar a plus).
  • Self‑motivated team player who thrives in a fast‑paced, in‑office, relationship‑driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in an independent agency setting.

    Familiarity with employee benefits or group health programs (a plus, as we offer comprehensive services).
  • Proven track record of client retention and account rounding.
