Hours: Full-Time, 40 hours weekly (on-site)
The Naz is seeking a highly organized, outgoing, and mission-minded Next Gen Event Coordinator to serve within our Next Gen Ministries, supporting children and students from birth through 12th grade (Naz KDZ & Naz YTH). This full-time role is ideal for someone with a heart for ministry, a passion for excellence, and a desire to help families take their next steps toward Jesus Christ through well‑executed events and strong volunteer engagement.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, coordinate, and execute major Next Gen events, including Bunny Breakfast, Vacation Bible School (VBS), Family Fall Fest, and Christmas Eve Winter Wonderland
- Oversee logistics, timelines, supplies, communication, and day‑of operations for events of all sizes
- Coordinate volunteer scheduling and serve teams for Next Gen events
- Provide administrative support across all Next Gen departments
- Attend Staff Prayer meetings, take and distribute notes, and track follow‑up items
- Prepare agendas and notes for Next Gen staff meetings
- Host a Next Gen ministry table in the lobby every other month to engage families and highlight volunteer opportunities
- Identify, recruit, and support potential volunteers
- Collaborate closely with Next Gen ministry leaders and assistants to ensure alignment and excellence
- A passion for advancing the message of Jesus Christ
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow‑through
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
- Creative, flexible, and able to work well under pressure
- Professional, confidential, and dependable
- Proficient in Microsoft operating systems
- Strong people skills with a service‑minded attitude
- Alignment with the mission and values of The Naz
- Regular attendance at The Naz Church
- Ownership of and commitment to The Naz’s vision and mission
- Availability for Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings
